I had a fantastic workday today-I had to drive to Camino, CA to pick up a donation to the Archives. It was absolutely beautiful trip. Camino is just east of Placerville, and in the foothills of the Sierras. I could see the mountains for most of the drive, and once I got to Camino, I was in Apple country! We're definitely going to have to take Danny back in the fall. Lots of farm stands, lots of apple trees, and yes, even in a town of less than 500 people, there was a Starbucks! Gotta love California :)
