We're home and awake

We made it home about 2:30 last night and so far, so good! The flight was delayed by a little more than an hour, but we held it together with the other few families as the rest of the passengers came off the plane. They kept saying "the babies are coming!" and finally they showed up with the flight crew. Danny cried a bit, but seemed to settle down after we held him for a while. I got to do the super fun first diaper change in the airport bathroom (gross, by the way!), and after signing a little bit of paperwork, we were on our way home! He did okay in the car seat until we hit Smyrna (about 25 minutes from home), and then he was done with that!

We got home, gave him a bottle, played a little bit, and hit the sack. He slept in the crib, and me, Dom and the dogs set up an air mattress on the floor next to him. We got a bit of sleep, and he's up and moving now!

The dogs are doing amazing, so gentle and sweet with him, and Danny seems to like them too. We'll write more later when we've got some time, but for now, here are a few pictures from the airport!
