Back home

We had a great time in Massachusetts this weekend. On Friday, we took Daniel to Salt Marsh Pottery to get his hand and footprints done...I'll put up pictures of the finished product when it arrives-Danny was in NO mood to be photographed while making it :)
The whole family got together at Nat and Amy's on Saturday and Daniel loved playing with his cousins and meeting everyone. Then Dom and I got to go on a Valentine's dinner date courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa. We were VERY excited...it's one of the first times we've gotten out by ourselves.
Sunday was a busy day, but a lot of fun. In the morning, Daniel and I met up with Kate and Shannon at Kate's house to play with Caroline and Elizabeth. Danny had a great time with the girls! He and Caroline had both just learned how to clap, so they showed off their skills. In the afternoon, Dom and I took Danny to see his friends Brian, Matt and Jen...Daniel was a big fan of Brian's cell phone (sorry Brian!).
After a quiet night, we all headed back to Delaware on Monday, and once again, Daniel was great in the car...whoever invented portable DVD players is a genius! And of course we are, as ever, grateful for the Wiggles!!!!
I'll post pictures in another day or so, once I gather them all together. It was great to see you all! I miss you already :)

Puppy Love

The dogs are so good with Daniel, and he is starting to figure out how much fun they can be. Of course, they are figuring out what a good source of food he is! The amount of puffs he drops over the side of the high chair is mind boggling.

Neighborhood Watch

This has always been one of Sandy's favorite places to sit, and now Danny loves it too...they are really turning into best friends-so cute. I couldn't resist the picture.

First Snow

Yesterday we got our first real snowfall of the year. I took Daniel outside to see the snow falling and play in it. He didn't quite know what to make of the stuff!!

5 weeks home

Well, it's been just about 5 weeks since Daniel came home, and he turns 10 months on Friday! We've come a really long way. He is such a sweet, happy little boy 95% of the time...he really only fusses when he is ready for a nap. All the things that he didn't like when he first came home (the changing table, the bath, the exersaucer), he now loves! He's smiley and affectionate, and all around a laid back little kid. We even took him out to lunch with friends this past weekend, and he did great!

He's still not sleeping so great...but we're getting there. Some nights he only wakes up twice, sometimes it's every hour or two, but he's starting to nap well, so that helps! He was sleeping through the night in Korea, so we know we'll get back there!

Daniel already knows who to root for! He is fully stocked with Sox gear, and ready for Fenway...He's already practicing "pitching" with Dom : )

Danny's First Christmas

So life goes on and Danny continues to adjust to his new life, despite a determined effort to put us on Korean time versus the other way round. He also got to experience his first ever Christmas. However when we all came downstairs on Christmas morning we found Sandy asleep under the tree on our presents. I am not sure if it means you were good or bad when Santa leaves you a Pit Bull. The day was capped off with a visit from his Nonna and Papa who quickly began spoiling him rotten. Now his Grandma and grandpa are on the way to continue spoiling him for the new year.
